Announcing Law School Graduates!

The firm congratulates its two law clerks upon receiving their J.D.s from the University of St. Thomas School of Law on May 18, 2019.

Colleen Joy Case has clerked with the firm since May, 2018. During her 2017-18 and 2018-19 years at St. Thomas, she was a member of the ABA Negotiations Competition Team. She served on Student Government and was the Executive Director of Planning as the 1L Class Representative. Colleen was a member and President of the Social Committee as well as a member of the Hiring, Financial and Judicial Committees. She served as the President and Co-Founder of the Sua Sponte Improv Comedy Troupe.

She is also the former liaison and current secretary of the Law School Engagement Committee.

Scott Andrew Fulks started with the firm as a legal assistant in March, 2015.

Scott graduated cum laude and served as a Committee Liaison for the St. Thomas School of Law Student Government and was Vice-President of the Latino Law Student Association.

Scott recently drafted and filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court of the United States supporting a petition for certification on a religious liberties issue which has been accepted. He also represented clients for asylum as a certified student attorney before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Scott clerked for the Honorable Katherine L. Hansen and the Honorable Kristin W. Olmanson at the Immigration Court at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Scott also logged more than 100 hours representing clients for naturalization and DACA as a certified student attorney with the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota.

Colleen and Scott will be preparing for the Bar exam this summer.
